Advanced Spine Care, led by Dr. Verma, is an outstanding team. This was the second surgery Dr. Verma performed on my husband, the first being a lumbar fusion from L3 to S1. From the very start, the team has been incredibly attentive during office visits, always taking the time to listen and offer great support. Dr. Verma explained exactly what to expect during recovery, and his accuracy was impressive. While the first few months involved intense nerve sensitivity, it subsided just as he said it would. The recovery process went exactly as he described, and that consistency over the weeks, months, and even years following the procedure built a deep level of trust in him and his team. Dr. Verma is dedicated to using the best, most minimally invasive techniques, always staying at the forefront of research. Because of how well the first surgery and recovery went, we trusted him completely for the second surgery, which went even better than the first. As this is my first major surgery, Dr. Verma has always made me feel I am in good hands. His assurance leaves me no doubt that I will be looking forward to a great recovery. Why? Because he also performed on my husband's lumber surgery not long ago, and my husband is now in excellent shape...bone structure wise. My husband has been so thankful and still is lost for words in expressing his appreciation for having Dr. Verma as his surgeon. Additionally, Dr. Verma makes sure that you're surrounded by a top notch team of doctors and nurses in the operating room as well as assisted by a caring staff after the surgery. If possible I would give Verma Spine 10 Stars! Dr. Verma performed my Spinal Fusion Surgery & immediately after coming out of anesthesia I could feel the problem in my Spine was resolved! I have made great progress on my recovery & I'm confident that I will be back to my previous fitness level/activities soon. I was recommended to Dr. Verma by my pain management Dr, 17yrs of severe muscle spasms, diff med’s, PT, on disability off and on last several years, etc. I’m a new patient and I’m hoping for hope that Dr. Verma can find the cause and i can get a full life back. So far i can say the office is welcoming & professional, staff warm, caring and friendly. Dr. Verma entered the office bringing his nurses flowers for “Nurse Day”! Impressed immediately! He came in vibrant, happy, warm & caring, honest, straight forward and immediately ordering tests that my other Dr’s never did in and for pain area, which i always wondered “why would you not?” I researched him as thorough as i could, i feel i am in good hands now! I went to see Dr. Verma for my fifth month exam. To my delight, Dr. Verma reported that I no longer have any more physical restrictions. I now can do a bit more extraneous exercises and work on the sports I love to do. Thank you, Dr. Verma, I did not expect that I'll be doing this well after a two level lumbar spine fusion surgery.

Dr Verma is who I went to for a second opinion. Where my first spine Dr took weeks to get anything done, Dr Verma took days. My first spent more time looking at the computer, Dr Verma actually looked at me, face to face and showed me my X-rays on a big screen TV monitor. I eventually had surgery with Dr Verma twice, he was very caring and took care of my lower back pain. Yes I would recommend Dr Verma to my friends and family.. update: Just had a decompression surgery. Dr Verma calls me or he encourages me to update him on my progress. Wish all my Drs did that. Year out from last surgery. Still feel good. Best in 5 years

Dr. Verma is a good listener. He thoughtfully answers questions, as well as tries to resolve the problem that I came in to see him. He has a sense of humor, unlike many other doctors. He has an optimistic attitude with medical issues, and pains. The entire office complex is impeccably clean. The staff is so polite, friendly, and helpful. Never have I been greeted by a grouchy person at the front desk. Instead, the girls are friendly and professional. I feel very comfortable at Dr. Verma's office!

This amazing doctor was very concerned about my back pain. When he saw the MRI, he knew surgery needed to be done right away. And he made it happen. I cannot say enough about Dr. Verma and his team! I am apparently a very complex case when it comes to my spine. After TWO failed lumbar fusions, Dr.Verma was able to recognize that I needed a specific procedure. Once performed, I’m finally able to walk pain-free, something I haven’t been able to do in years. After seeing several specialists, it was Dr. Verma that finally saw how damaged my cervical spine was as well. Thanks to him and the surgery he performed, my arms and hands are no longer numb, and i’m regaining strength every day. Thanks to Dr. Verma, I’m able to live life again. His team is as helpful and kind as you can find. Amber is the sweetest, most helpful front office pro ever. Jane has always made sure my refills were done immediately, not to mention always greeting me with that huge smile! Gia has gone above and beyond any medical care professional I have ever known. On Sept. 10, 2019 Dr. Verma performed an Anterior Cervival Discectomy and Fusion at the C6 - C7 level in my neck. A family member who is in the medical field prior to my decision to have the surgery vetted Dr. Verma. All individuals contacted at UCI and Memorial Medical Center reported back high praise for Dr. Verma's surgical expertise and all around professionalism. My experience leading up to and following my surgery has been nothing but tremendous. Dr. Verma handled himself much different from other surgeons I have dealt with in the past. Dr. Verma and his team at Verma Spine put patient care and concerns first. After 10 years of lower back pain, my husband and I met with his team. As a runner, I had explored all lower back remedies through chiropractic care and various stretching. When these avenues no longer brought relief, Dr. Verma had answers and options for me to explore next. As my pain continued to progress it seemed like surgery was the best solution. They helped me navigate this “scary” space by explaining the procedures and reviewed my x-rays and MRI alongside me multiple times. Once consent was given and paperwork was started, communications were expedited. Through phone calls and text message exchanges I felt apart of each step of the decision making process. Within a week, I was given 5 star care at Dr. Verma’s office and the surgery center. Each nurse and person involved made me feel safe and comfortable. When the outpatient surgery was over, follow up care began immediately. I was called by the surgery center nurse, Dr. Verma, members of the Verma Spine team and set up with PT home care. Each person was informative, kind, and genuine. Now, I’m on the road to recovery and am no longer suffering from the chronic pain that once radiated down my legs and through my back. I’m enjoying sitting and walking around pain free! I’m looking forward to continued healing as the weeks and months pass. I am truly grateful for Dr. Verma and his team!

The moment I contacted Verma Spine (yet to enter the office) I was pleased with the outstanding customer service. From the front office assistance (Thank you Jennifer) to the medical coordination of the beforehand and after surgery processes and procedures (Thank you Gia), I could not have felt more at ease with my decision to have chosen Dr. Verma as my Surgeon. The surgery went as he assured me it would (he's highly confident with his skills), and I was in MINOR discomfort due to the surgery for just a few weeks. 6 months in recovery (yes I waited to this long to give a review), and still yet to have any residual BACK PAINS. I’m really just getting started but, so far I’m open, asking questions. He is very willing to answer my questions. I’ll know more later. Well, it’s been 4 mos post Spinal fusion. I felt pain like I never did in my life but, when I texted I always got a response from Gia or Dr. Verma. Dr. Verma has that bed side manner for me, better to say 4mos later cause u don’t want to see him a few days after surgery. For the most part, I’m pleased with the surgery, much, much less pain. I’m still recovering It’s almost one year for the first spinal fusion 2/21…. No pain! Dr. Verma is a great Dr. His professionalism is advanced his knowledge on the spine is just incredible. He told me when he first saw my back that I can fix you. Well, I was questionable in my head because they admit I had to get back surgery but, I am grateful that I had a doctor that knew what he was doing because it shows. I did get upset with him when in five months he had to go back in and perform another miracle. … 8/9/23 will be a year for the second surgery. I have some residual effects of the second surgery, nerve pain here and there, but for the most part I’m healing really well. I would definitely refer patients to him that have problems with their backs.

I was in extreme pain and was referred to Dr Verma by my primary. When I called for an appointment I was treated with courtesy, compassion and advice and an early appointment was set up. My spine surgery was performed yesterday. Dr. Verma is one of the nicest, thorough, and amazing doctors I have had the pleasure of working with. I have anxiety and this was my first major surgery (lumbar anterior and posterior fusion). His team and the nurses at the surgical center took care attending to me and I can't wait to see how my back feels after recovery. Thanks again team!

I could tell you how Dr. Verma’s Receptionist, Amber is so helpful when I call for appointments - but I won’t. And I won’t tell you about Gia, Dr. Verma’s Surgical Coordinator who is so amazing in making all necessary arrangements. But what I will tell you is how skilled and kind Dr. Verma is. I’m 72 years old and I had been suffering with back pain for almost 40 years. After back surgery done almost a year earlier and spending months literally screaming from pain, Dr. Verma said he could help me. He warned me that he couldn’t remove all my pain but he could make it manageable. Dr. Verma was wrong! He cured all of my pain! I have not needed any pain medication for months now (I was taking 6 Percocet a day while wearing a Fentanyl patch) Dr. Verma is considerate, caring, thorough and amazingly perceptive. I have complete faith in his work and the office and surgical teams he has put together. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Initial assessment got right down to business and ordered an MRI. I’m hopeful that I’ll get some answers to my back pain. The Office was beautiful as well.

So far, I only had one visit with Dr. Verma, however, I can already see that he takes time to listen to his patients, and is responding in a well versed way to patient concerns. Very professional and patient oriented. I have no concerns to recommend Dr. Verma to family and friends. I was greeted with a warm welcome and the staff are friendly.
